Lost the board today. I was getting pestered in Admin to update to a new version. Ignored it for a couple of weeks, but today it annoyed me too much so I decided to upgrade the board. That was just after breakfast. Lost the board, lost my databases, lost everything, and my backups won't install without crashing the board. I'm no expert on these things, I just muddle along and do my best. It's almost midnight and finally, I have a board up and running again. Ah well, at least it gives me something to do. I seem to spend more and more time these days fixing my messes. Autism and getting older are not really compatible as far as keeping my attention on what I'm doing is concerned. Can't complain though, I've had an amazing life and I love my life now.
Oh dear, the smilies that come with the board are awful. I'll have to upload a few new ones.

That's the smilies sorted out. I can't revert to our old skin as it hasn't been updated to the new board software yet, and this is the best one I can find for now. Should never have upgraded the board. That's the last time.

You were right about Windows 7 Todd. I had a fully functioning version, and all the drivers were installed. Then Windows update started giving me updates. There were no Microsoft updates for Windows 7, but they have started giving a few little ones that cripple your computer so you can't use it with Windows 7. They are crippling software and hardware so you can't use them. Event Google Chrome is about to cripple its browser so it won't work on Windows 7. I've had to revert back to Windows 11 mate and there's nothing we can do about it really. Beats me why no one ever developed an operating system as good as Windows for PCs. There was a good reason there were laws in place to protect us from companies like Microsoft monopolising products. So yeah, you are going to need to upgrade to Windows 11 sooner or later or your PC is going to stop working.

I see Bapper has made it here. You remember Bapper Martina, he took you out fishing in his boat when you were here. He's now my next door neighbour.

Yes, his nickname is Bapper. He is learning photography and today we were out in the Big Burn at Golspie. Here he is with his camera.
